Desperate Move

Monday night after the Royals lost to the Detroit Tigers, the Royals replaced their hitting coach. This move was made in desperation in hopes of saving Allard Baird's job. About two weeks ago David Glass made the statement that the Royals must improve or changes will be made. The next day he back off the statement a little and had meetings with all of the Royals top brass, including Bell. With little success since Allard switched hitting coach's. The major league teams coach is now the roving hitting instructor while the roving instructor is now the major league coach. This is the 3rd hitting coach in 12 months. This pattern is the same with the pitching coach. To me it is apparent that the direction of the club is unstable, how can the team have any success if the coach's are always different? The next move made by the Royals front office had better be Baird being replaced. Just my opinion.
